British actor Robert Hardy, who played the Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge in the films of the saga of the Boy magician Harry Potter, died at 91 years, today reported his family. In addition to the role in the film adaptations of writer J.K. Rowling's novels, Hardy was known for the television series All Creatures Great and small, which the British public network BBC issued between 1978 and 1990.
His sons-Emma, Justine and Paul-lamented the end of the "tremendous life" of the actor, who cultivated a "gigantic career of more than 70 years in the theatre, television and cinema". "Dad will also be remembered as a meticulous linguist, a brilliant artist, a music lover and a literary champion," they underlined in a statement.
